Genting Highlands

Genting Highlands otherwise known as Resorts World Genting is the flagship integrated resort developed by Genting Group. It is nestled on a mountain peak (maximum elevation about 1760m) within the Titiwangsa Mountains on the border between the states of Pahang and Selangor of Malaysia. It is accessible by car from Kuala Lumpur in one hour, or also accessible by a cable car called Genting Skyway (3.38 km)which at its opening used to be the world’s fastest and South East Asia’s longest gondola lift.

Hanoi Landmark Tower

Hanoi Landmark Tower is a skyscraper under construction in Hanoi, Vietnam. This tower will have 65 floors and features a modern architectural style. The architect of the tower is Callison, an American company. Once completion, this tower will be among one of the highest buildings in Vietnam. As of 2007, the highest building in Vietnam is Saigon Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City with 33 stories only. Upon completion, this tower will include offices, entertainment, shopping malls, convention center.

During 2000-2007, Vietnam has achieved an economic growth of 8-8.5%, thus leading to the increasing demand of office and shopping spaces in its big cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Haiphong has been in rapid rise. Land and housing cost in these cities still keep expensive compared with GDP per capita in the country.

Shanghai World Financial Center

The Shanghai World Financial Center (Abbr: SWFC; simplified Chinese: 上海环球金融中心; traditional Chinese: 上海環球金融中心; pinyin: Shànghǎi huánqiú jīnróng zhōngxīn) is a supertall skyscraper in Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the hotel component containing 174 rooms and suites. Occupying the 79th to the 93rd floors, it is the highest hotel in the world, surpassing the Grand Hyatt Shanghai on the 53rd to 87th floors of the neighboring Jin Mao Tower.

On 14 September 2007 the skyscraper was topped out at 492.0 meters (1,614.2 ft) and became the second-tallest building in the world; as well as the tallest structure in the People’s Republic of China, including Hong Kong. It is currently the third-tallest building in the world. It also had the highest occupied floor and the highest height to roof, two categories used to determine the title of "The World’s Tallest Building".

SM Mall of Asia

SM Mall of Asia (MOA) is a shopping mall owned and developed by SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall developer and owner in the Philippines. SM Mall of Asia is the second largest shopping mall in the Philippines and the 4th largest shopping mall in the world. It has a land area of 42 hectares and has a gross floor area of an approximate 390,193 m² (4.2 million square feet) and 407,101 m² of total area. The mall is located at Bay City, Pasay City, Philippines just near the SM Central Business Park, the Manila Bay and the southern end of EDSA (Epifanio de los Santos Avenue). The mall attracts a daily foot traffic of 200,000 people.

The Mall of Asia was constructed within the reclamation area. It is built on 19.5 hectares of reclaimed land and has a gross floor area of 390,193 square meters. The mall is located at the southmost tip of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue. A roundabout was constructed in the front of the mall with a huge bronze globe similar to that of the Universal Studios Theme Parks and the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park in New York City.

SM Makati

SM Makati also known as Shoemart Makati or SM Department Store Makati is the flagship SM Department Store owned by the SM Group and managed by SM Prime Holdings. It is located at Ayala Center, cor EDSA, Makati City near Glorietta Mall, Philippines. It opened in 1967 and was relaunched in the year 2004. It is the 2nd SM Department Store ever built by Henry Sy Sr..

It features anchors like the SM Supermarket and obviously the SM Department Store. The mall was relaunched in 2004 and featured anchors like Ace Hardware, Toy Kingdom, Surplus Shop and Watsons Drugstore.

Berjaya Times Square

Berjaya Times Square KL is a twin tower complex containing a shopping centre and two five star hotels located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was opened in October 2003 by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad. Both towers are 203 metres (666 ft) tall, with 48 floors.

It is currently the fifth largest building in the world and has also been tagged as the "world’s largest building ever built in a single phase", with 7.5 million square feet (700,000 m²) of built up floor area. It offers shopping, luxury accommodation, business, food and entertainment. Currently, it has space for more than 1,000 retail shops, 1,200 luxury service suites, 65 food outlets to suit many tastes and entertainment attractions such as Asia’s largest indoor theme park, Cosmo’s World and Malaysia’s first-ever IMAX 2D & 3D theatre which is located on the 10th Floor. In April 2005, Borders Group opened its first franchise store here whish is currentlty the largest Borders store in the world.

Sapporo JR Tower

Sapporo JR Tower (Japanese: JRタワー) is a skyscraper, shopping mall and office complex in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. The Tower is located above JR Sapporo Station South entrance, and the height of the tower is 173 m (568 ft) with 38 stories. Officially, Sapporo JR Tower includes not only the Tower itself, but also the Sapporo Stellar Place, the Daimaru Sapporo branch store, the Sapporo Cinema Frontier, the JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo, office complex, and other sections neighboring JR Sapporo Station. It also houses the parking lot, observation deck, and heliport.

Sapporo JR Tower was officially opened on March 6, 2003 by the Sapporo-Eki Minamiguchi Kaihatsu Co. Ltd., Sapporo Station South Entrance Development, which was later renamed to the Sapporo-Eki Sogo Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. in 2005.

Pacific Place Jakarta

The Pacific Place Jakarta is an international shopping mall located in in the Sudirman Central Business District, Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia. The building is divided into 3 different sections: the six-floor Pacific Place mall, the One Pacific Place office center, and the three tower The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place hotel. The project was started by the Dua Mutiara group, and its original design was a triangular building, designed like other buildings around the location. However, the management changed the design, as the head of the project feared of a Chinese prophecy that proved a 45 degree building would mean bad luck. The mall opened in November 2007.

Opened on the fall of 2007, the Pacific Place Jakarta consisted of six floors, and included several notable tenants, such as Blitzmegaplex, Kidzania Jakarta, Kem Chicks, and the Metro Group, which also opened a Metro Department Store in Pondok Indah Mall.

Senayan City

Senayan City (also often known as Sen C) is a mixed-use development located in Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. The complex comprises a seven-floor high end shopping mall, an office tower (mainly occupied by SCTV), an apartment tower, and a five-star hotel operated by Sofitel. Senayan City is built on a land area of 48,000 m² owned by the Bung Karno Stadium Authority. It is built and managed by Manggala Gelora Perkasa, a subsidiary of Agung Podomoro Group, under the BOT contract for 50 years which starts in 2005. DP Architects Pte. Ltd (Singapore) and P.T. Airmas Asri designed the sprawling shopping complex.

The shopping mall, opened in June 23, 2006, is anchored by Debenhams department store and Best Denki electronic store, the largest outlet outside Japan.
