Toronto Pearson International Airport, also known as Lester B. Pearson International Airport or simply Toronto Pearson (IATA: YYZ, ICAO: CYYZ), is a major international airport serving Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is situated 27 km (17 mi) northwest of Downtown Toronto in the city of Mississauga, Ontario. It is the primary airport for a densely populated metropolitan region in southern Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area, situated within the Golden Horseshoe.

Pearson is the largest and busiest airport in Canada. In 2009, it handled 30.4 million passengers, a 6.1% decrease compared to 2008. In 2008, it handled 32.3 million passengers, 429,262 aircraft movements and was the 22nd busiest airport by aircraft movements in the world. In 2006, the airport was selected as the best global airport by the UK-based Institute of Transport Management.

Scotia Plaza

Scotia Plaza is a Postmodern commercial office complex in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The complex is situated in the financial district of the downtown core, and is generally bordered by Yonge Street on the east, King Street West on the south, Bay Street on the west, and Adelaide Street West on the north.

Scotia Plaza is connected to the PATH network, and contains 190,000 m2 (2,045,143 sq ft) of office space and 40 retail stores. The complex continues to serve as the head office of Scotiabank.

Brookfield Place

Brookfield Place, formerly BCE Place, is an office complex in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, comprising the 2.1 hectare (5.2 acre) block bounded by Yonge Street to the east, Wellington Street West to the north, Bay Street to the west, and Front Street to the south. The complex contains 242,000 square metres (2,604,866 sq ft) of office space, and consists of two towers, the Bay Wellington Tower and the TD Canada Trust Tower, linked by the six-storey Allen Lambert Galleria. Brookfield Place is also the home of the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Bay Wellington Tower is a 49 storey office tower, designed by Bregman + Hamann Architects and completed in 1992. The TD Canada Trust Tower (formerly the Canada Trust Tower until the merger with the Toronto-Dominion Bank), noted for its recessed design and spire on the upper levels, stands at 53 storeys. Designed by Bregman + Hamann Architects and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the tower was completed in 1990.
